In the Spa Corallium of the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort the world seems to stand still for a moment. This centre, inspired by the volcanic condition of Gran Canaria, offers modern and comprehensive facilities over a surface of 3,700 square metres, exclusively designed for relaxation and well-being.

This magnificent spa offers hydrotherapy with the most advanced technology, complete spa treatments, a beauty centre with 14 rooms and more than 80 different treatments, as well as an outdoor area with 4 different swimming pools and a gymnasium (Technogym system).

Some of the treatments on offer include a fitness centre, a spa with African sauna and jetted tub, hydrotherapy, water cascades for massage, a salt-water pool, ice canyon with igloo and a relaxation room, and an outdoor spa garden area for Tai-Chi and meditation to name but a few.

In facilities spread over 3,500 square metres, the spa offers a trip along a hydrothermal circuit, especially designed to encourage the elimination of toxins in all senses of the word, both physical and emotional, thereby stimulating relaxation, harmony and strengthening the cardiovascular and immune system.

The centre uses the most up-to-date hydrotherapy, chromo therapy, music therapy and aromatherapy treatments. It also boasts a modern gymnasium, fully equipped with latest technology in apparatus.

The magnificent layout of the centre takes the visitor on a trip starting in Egypt and ending in the Arab world and from the tropics to the North Pole, all of this inside an architectural complex integrated into the volcanic relief of Gran Canaria.

The spa uses natural water at different temperatures, alternating the cold zones (where muscular toning is increased and blood capillaries contract) with hot ones (where muscles relax and blood circulation in tissues rises), to improve the working of muscles and so encourage vascular gymnastics that is beneficial for the whole system.

The minimum temperatures in this wonderful centre drop to 3 degrees centigrade in the World of Ice and in the Reflexology pool and manage to reach up to 90 degrees in the African Sauna, passing the 35 or 36 degrees in the Lake with Waterfalls, the Flotation Pool, the Jacuzzi in the garden and the heated Walled Waterfall, as well as the 40 or 42 degrees in the Hamman and the Saline Steam Bath.

The centre also offers private rooms for facial and body treatments, where highly qualified professionals work using natural cosmetic products with bases of aromatic essential oils and plant extracts. All the therapies are specifically adapted to the individual needs of each client, since all of them receive personal attention.

Facial treatments include a skin diagnosis, a personalised cleaning with specific products for different skin types, a manual lifting treatment, an eye massage, fito drainage of the face, fingertip puncture treatment and a hand massage during the application of the face mask.
